Kim Kardashian‘s style has come a long way since her days of being Paris Hilton‘s
sidekick. Today, Kim’s known for her sleek, asset-enhancing looks, most
often rocking them in safe neutral shades or black. We’ve seen her in
everything from revealing nightclub minidresses and elegant red-carpet
gowns to her signature “mature” look of blazers paired with leggings.
Hardly ever is she spotted without a full face of makeup, perfect hair and super-high heels. Although Kimmy makes quite the effort to look well put-together, there have inevitably been some questionable looks along the way.
Here we’ve highlighting some of her most fabulous moments, along with some of her less flattering ones.
THE WORST:
#5
The dress reminds me too much of old tacky drapes, complete with valances.
#4
There’s too much going on here with the print on this dress, the thick black belt and the tights. Very 60s go-go girl.
#3
Again, too much going on here with the pink tweed jacket, ruffly white blouse and leopard print booties. Kim, this is a bit too matronly.
#2
Although we’re sure this ensemble had a pretty price tag, the white halter/beige belt/voluminous coral skirt/leopard-print shoe combo looks, well, cheap.
#1
Not sure what Kim was thinking when she threw on this number. At first glance, it looks like Ed Hardy on steroids.
THE BEST:
#5
It's quite the simple look, but it works so well. What would be a minimal, yet flattering, black-and-white number is kicked up a notch with gold studs around the waist and killer metallic heels.
#4
The combo of nude and grey on this strapless dress is a hit, working wonders with Kim’s complexion.
#3
Although Kim isn’t her usual sun-kissed self in this image, her rare choice of a bright color looks stunning here. Love the one-shoulder style and the fit is smashing on her figure.
#2
Kim looks so fresh-faced and beautiful in this white goddess gown. She went minimal with the jewelry here, which adds to the classy look.
#1
Kim’s taken the blazer to another level. Rocking a cute striped one here with high-waisted shorts, this is one look Kim has perfected. Once she started regularly wearing these pieces, it seemed her close friends, like LaLa Vasquez, quickly caught on to the trend. Usually worn in the “boyfriend” style (long and roomy), she often sports her blazers complete with shoulder pads.
Love,
Vittoria
