I recommend...Bright Lipstick

Wear bright lipstick shades this summer, from bright pinks, vivid reds to bold corals. Bright lips are sexy and surprisingly easy to pull off. Here's how to do it in 5 easy steps.

Step 1: Prep lips
Bright shades emphasise dry and flaky areas on the lips, so it’s important to exfoliate and moisturise. Apply a thick lip balm and leave it to settle for 10 minutes. This will loosen flakes and moisturise the lips. Next, exfoliate lips using a wet face cloth or baby wipes. This will remove loose flakes and excess balm, leaving the lips soft and smooth.
Step 2: Line the lips
Choose a lip pencil color that is similar to your natural skin tone, instead of using a color that matches your lipstick shade. This will prevent your lips from looking uneven and patchy once the lipstick starts fading. Instead, you are left with natural, fresh looking lips.
Step 3: Apply bright color
Apply the lipstick to the centre of the mouth, using short strokes. Blend the lipstick outward and stop before you get to the corners. For best results, paint the bright lipstick in thin layers until you achieve the intensity you want and use a lip brush for precision.
Step 4: Blot your lips
Using a one-ply tissue, blot your lips and apply a small amount of loose powder on a brush through the tissue. Remove the tissue and repeat the process. This will give the lipstick a lasting effect and avoid fading. It will also stop the color from bleeding.
Step 5: Keep the rest of your face natural
This look draws all the attention to your lips. It is best to keep the rest of your make-up natural, thus creating a far more elegant and sophisticated look.
